Asuto shopping arcade

The last of East Kamata series is Asuto shopping arcade. This arcade lies from Keikyu Kamata station to the west.

This arcade is actually used for the walking route from JR Kamata station to Keikyu Kamata station, because this is the only one shopping mall covered with complete roof. Up to 20 years ago , this mall was longer than now , but when Keikyu Kamata Station was rebuilt, the east end of the mall was cut and the space was absorbed to the station square. Still, this mall is always full of people walking to the west and to the east, a typical scene for East Kamata.
