Shin-Okubo used to be a small town adjacent to Shinjuku, and frankly it was not conspicuous for a town on Yamanote Loop Line. But now, as you can see in the photo, so many females of all generations flood into this town that it is difficult to walk on shopping arcades in this town. Their targets are many shops which sell goods of Korean male actors. Yes, this town is now “the sanctuary for Korean stars”.
As for me, this was the first time to see the same scene as that before COVID-19, though almost all people are wearing masks. I hope such scene be expand not only to all over Tokyo but also to all over Japan.
