A view of Toranomon crossing from Shimbashi

This is a view of Toranomon crossing from Shimbashi side. The street in the center is Sotobori-Dori. The buildings of this area are not new, but still host many companies and corporates because of its conveniency.

The tall building in the front is Kasumigaseki Building. It is the 1st skyscraper in Japan, built in 1968. Some of you may feel that the scene is like the photos of New York which feature MetLife Building . The reason is that Kasumigaseki Building is located on the track of Sotobori Dori, because Sotobori Dori curves to the left just after Toranomon Crossing, and Kasumigaseki Building is located just behind the curve.
