Kachidoki

changing Tokyo

“Kachidoki” means the shout of triumph. The name of this area comes from “Kachidoki bridge”, which you can see in the center of this photo. When this bridge was constructed 80 years ago, Japan was under junta regime, that is why this bridge has such an old-fashioned name. But Kachidoki area is one of the up and coming towns in Tokyo, attracting many residents with its convenience and proximity to Tokyo bay. I hope the world can someday raise “Kachidoki” for overcoming COVID-19.
