I chose Tokyo Skytree for this week’s article ,because this tower is a symbol of Tokyo for tourists from other countries/regions. Though betrayed many times by optimisms , I would say people in the world has finally turned the corner and are seeing a small light at the end of the tunnel of COVID-19. Yes, this is not the first time the number of patients are decreasing in most countries. But, I think this is the first time the governments has chose the specific tack, which is to regulate talks over meal or food, and it resulted in apparent improvement. This is not the only good news. Winter in northern hemisphere is going to wither soon, and the vaccines are getting available for many people.
So from this week I changed the policy of this blog: I will introduce to people outside Japan how Tokyo is recovering from COVID-19. Tokyo Skytree is the first one. I am cautiously confident that on the same day next year, Tokyo Skytree is filled with many tourists who want to look down Tokyo after COVID-19.
