Waseda

Though “Waseda” is the name of a town in the west part of Tokyo, this name is the synonym of one of the most famous universities in Japan, “Waseda University”. With its long history and many graduates who lead Japan for 100 years, Waseda University is leading the culture and lifestyle of young Japanese people with its rival Keio University.

The number of COVID-19 patients in Japan is now rapidly increasing. It is intriguing that the proportion of elderly people is now quite small, but on the other hand, the number of young patients is increasing dramatically. It seems they changed their mind: they decided to enjoy their campus life is spite of the risk of Coronavirus, asserting the former is more important than the latter. Whether their decisions are correct or not may come out soon.
