Kinshicho is located about 3 miles east of Tokyo station. It is actually the east gate of Tokyo city center with wide downtown area. Up until 50 years ago the east gate was Ryogoku, its neighbor station, but Kinshico took over that title when a new railway connected Kinshicho to Tokyo station to pour the flood of commuters from the east side of Tokyo metropolitan area.
Except masks covering people’s faces, it seems the days before COVID-19 came back. I hope people in Japan can ward off the incursion of Omicron variant and continue their current lives.
