July 24, 2020… the restarting day for Tokyo

Ginza street on the holiday people in town

This was supposed to be the memorial day for people living in Tokyo. Many athletes and people from all over the world would gather in Tokyo to celebrate the Olympics Opening Ceremony, and Tokyo should be in huge enthusiasm.
The rest is history. I would like to start this website by a photo of the day in Ginza. Yes, it is far from enthusiasm. The number of people are much less than usual holidays (This day is a national holiday though the Olympic has been postponed). People are quieter because people came to refrain from talking loudly to prevent Coronavirus. But, still, people in Tokyo have restarted their new lives. Most of the department stores and shops and even restaurants are open. People are making a long line in front of them to keep “social distance”, but is spite of that , or all the more for that, they are enjoying the holiday. This is the restarting day for Tokyo.
