Kabukiza

Those who have ever planned to travel to Tokyo must have seen this photo of Kabukiza. They also must know what Kabuki is: Kabuki is Japan’s traditional play which dates back to 400 years ago. “Kabukiza” means “Kabuki Theatre”, which is the main theatre for Kabuki . Though there are not so many Japanese people who often enjoy watching Kabuki, Japanese people recognize that Kabuki is one of the symbols for Japanese traditional culture.

For more than two years, plays and music concerts were almost fatally damaged by COVID-19. Kabuki was not an exception. But, now that COVID-19 is finally going away, they are eagerly waiting for a lot of audiences coming back again.
