If there are three universities which represent Japan, one of them should be Keio University. Since it was established in 1850s , even before Meiji restoration, Keio University has lead Japan with plenty of upper-class graduates. Japan is famous for its egalitarian society with equal opportunities, but in some cases students and graduates of Keio University seems to be exceptions. To say the least, they have close relationships and make communications with each other to lead Japan’s society.
This picture features just the entrance of the university. It occupies wide area close to Tamachi station on Yamanote Line . This fact also shows that this university is a special one in Japan.
