“Salesforce.com” , one of the worlds’ biggest and strongest IT company, is said to choose the best location for each city which accommodates their office. According to this policy, this tech giant chose the location for Tokyo office; at the site on the moat of the Royal Palace.
This site used to be occupied by another high-rise building , but it was demolished several years ago. This site is also with highest prestige for enterprises in Japan, but Salesforce.com succeeded in gaining this position, probably with their abundant budget. I believe this decision will pay off by attracting many talents from all over Japan.
