Shibuya is one of the most famous downtowns for people outside Japan with its fashionable and vibrant image. If they hear “Shibuya crossing”, they think Shibuya Hachiko-mae crossing, which is said to be the busiest crossing in the world. But the crossing in the photo is not that. This is Miyamasu-zaka crossing, just a few yards from Hachiko-mae crossing. Miyamasu-zaka crossing is less famous, but now getting more and more popular.
Miyamasu-zaka is the name of a hill. Now Shibuya is under complete renovation , and many shops and buildings are being built along this hill. Probably it is not far away when this area become another icon of Shibuya.
