Takanawa Gateway Station

Takanawa Gateway Station is located on Yamanote Line next to Shinagawa Station.It was opened on March 14 , just 4 months ago. This opening should have been celebrated by many people in Tokyo, because it is very rare to add new station on Yamanote Line, the backbone railway line of Tokyo. However most people could not mind this station’s opening
at the peak of Coronavirus pandemic.
I believe the opening of this station was a heartbeat of Tokyo, Even in Coronavirus pandemic, Tokyo is still growing. This station is destined to become one of the key stations in Tokyo, because it is located at the center of a big urban redevelopment plan. I believe the opening of this station will be more impressive for the people in the future than those under the pandemic.
