This website once featured Toranomon-Hills Station almost three years ago. At that time I wrote that this station was still in tentative phase. To my delight, I can show the grand opening of this station today.
This station is exceptional as for an underground railway station. It has a wide space underground, with shopping and dining malls, and transparent walls through which you can see platforms and trains. The reason is that this station was constructed by “Mori Building”, a big developer, for its flagship project called “Toranomon-Hills redevelopment plan”. I will show the new landscape created by this redevelopment next week.
