Probably you have heard the name of “Hotel Okura Tokyo”. Yes, it has been said that there are three hotels in Tokyo which have the highest prestige : Imperial Hotel, Hotel New Otani, and Hotel Okura. Hotel Okura has just finished its reconstruction and celebrated the grand open. Many people in Tokyo rushed to this hotel from the nearest subway station “Toranomon Hills”, but almost all of them lost its way. Why?
This photo shows the main pathway to Hotel Okura. You must be surprised to see this narrow pathway, but there lies another trick too. The escalator you see is not the way to the hotel. If you want to reach the main lobby and front desk, you need to choose the pathway on the right side of the escalator , go through the parking space underground, and use an elevator upward. This is because this hotel lies on a hill and the main entrance is located on the upper side of the hotel site. I will show the main entrance of this hotel next week.
