I featured the US Embassy in Tokyo two years ago, with a photo from the north side. This time I used a photo from the south side, that is, from Hotel Okura side which I featured last week.
Hotel Okura has a special relationship with the US embassy. One of the reasons why Hotel Okura became the top-class hotel is its location. Located adjacent to the embassy, this hotel has been used by many Americans since WWII ended. In a sense, the US embassy nurtured Hotel Okura.
