Kanda

Kanda is the town adjacent to Tokyo Station, just 20 minutes’ walk to the north, with Kanda Station which is the next one to Tokyo Station. During Edo era, Kanda was one of the main downtowns for Edo, There are still many temples and shrines in this area , most of them smack Edo city.

Kanda still keeps such characteristics now. If you walk from Tokyo Station to the north, high-rise buildings and skyscrapers suddenly disappear , and small shops and restaurants on narrow alleys appear. This is exactly the feature of Kanda. Many businesspersons and youngsters flock in this town to enjoy their nightlife.
