Hankyu Oimachi Garden is the complex of food shopping center, hotel, and some restaurants located at the west gate of Oimachi station. This is the main grocery for people around here, a lodging facility for Tokyo visitors, and a conference space for businesses.
Previously, this complex used to be Hankyu Department Store in Oimachi, which opened in 1953. At that time the west side of Oimachi Station was an industrial area with many factories, both large ones and small ones. Hankyu Department Store attracted many workers of these factories and families of them. As time passed, this area turned residential area, but this facility is still attracting many people just like before.
