Man’nen-bashi bridge is one of the bridges which has been there since Edo era. Unlike other famous bridges, this bridge does not span over Sumida river: this bridge spans over Onaki canal at the point where Onaki canal meets Sumida river.
The reason why this bridge is famous is that this was featured by the masters of Ukiyoe painting. One of them is that by Katsushika Hokusai, and another is by Hiroshige Utagawa.
