The last days for Shuto Expwy KK

Shuto Expressway （Japanese people call it ”Shuto -koh “) is a network of highways which runs over Tokyo metropolitan area. There are more than 10 routes for Shuto Expressway , and KK route has been one of them since it was completed in around 1960.

But, soon KK will be the first Shuto Expressway route to be abolished. In accordance with the plan for renovating the whole network, this route will be abolished next week, on 05 April. Many people in Tokyo miss this route because KK circles around Ginza area, and was featured in many movies and TV dramas.
