Ueno Park in “Golden Week”

This is the main avenue of Ueno Park on one fine day in “Golden Week”, week-long holidays at the beginning of May in Japan. In usual years, this avenue is filled with families and couples enjoing the best season . However, to our sorrow, we can see very little people this year too, following the previous year. You can easily guess the reason: Tokyo fell into “the Declaration of Emergency for COVID-19”.

On the other side, people in Japan has finally started to get vaccines . The good news is that the foregoing countries about vaccines are apparently decreasing COVID-19 patients. I believe I can see throngs and throngs on this street next year, like those in the past.
