Supreme Court of Japan is located close to Japan’s governmental area which is located in the west of the Royal Palace. But, unlike other buildings and facilities of Japanese government, this building is quite chatacteristic: from this angle, it looks like a castle in medieval Europe . This building was designed by a famous Japanese architect 50 years ago.
Most people in Japan have not visited this building, because it is said that Japanese people are reluctant to use their right to fair trial. I cannot see if this tendency changes in the near future.
