As its name says, Tennozu Isle is a small island, actually a landfill site which was constructed more than 150 years ago . Since then had it been an area for warehouses of Tokyo port, but about 30 years ago the owner company changed the whole island into business and resort area. When this area opend, it was one of the most popular areas in Tokyo, with many people visiting every day.
But, time passed on. Many new urban developments have opened since then, and this area is slowly losing its shine. Now this area is almost completely a business area . A famous brewery on the canal is handing down its hayday.
