Daikan-Yama is only 20 minutes’ walk from Shibuya station. Shibuya is world-famous for its fashionable streets, but in a sense Daikan-Yama outdo them.
Daikan-Yama is just one of the high-rank residential areas around Shibuya . But, since 30 years ago, many shops opened in this area, attracting young people who have urban sense. In some cases they are looking down on people of their generations walking in Shibuya area. It seems there is no chance Daikan-Yama would lose its status in the near future.
