This is a photo of Keio Nakadori drinking quarter, or “Keio Nakadori Shotengai” in daytime. In the evenings, this area is filled with many people, especially young people,who are enjoying their evenings with their friends.
There are plenty of such areas in Tokyo. What makes this quarter characteristic is that this is close to Keio University. The students of Keio University are said to belong to the upper class, but as long as we see them in this area chattering and shouting over drinks, they are the same as their peers at other universities.
